Not Just Disney. Not Even Close.
Most people meet me and think, “Oh, she does Disney.”
And they’re not wrong—I love Disney. It’s where my travel story began.
My mom worked at The Disney Store in the ’90s, and I was hooked early. As I got older, I visited Disney World with friends, sailed on Disney cruises, and even traveled with families I babysat for. But the moment it truly felt magical? That came when I went with a 3- and 5-year-old.
Seeing the parks through their eyes—believing every character was real, every castle enchanted—that stayed with me.
Years later, I went back with the children of that same 5-year-old.
And if the first trip was magic… this one was magic magnified.
But here’s the part that surprises people:
That’s just the beginning of my story.
The First Time I Realized There Was More
My first non-Disney trip was a guided tour through England, Scotland, and Wales. I was amazed by the history, the views, the pace of it all. But I couldn’t help noticing what was missing: that attention to detail and seamless experience that Disney had trained me to expect.
It made me think: What if I could bring that level of care and magic to every kind of trip?
So that’s exactly what I started doing.
A Rome Detour That Changed Me
One of my favorite travel memories happened in Rome, in my late twenties. I went with a coworker—we were great at work, but not exactly travel soulmates. While she relaxed at the hotel, I wanted to explore. Every day I’d hop on a bus and just see where it led.
One morning, half the bus emptied at a stop. I asked the driver what was happening.
He said, “They’re heading to St. Peter’s Square. Pope John Paul II is giving an audience.”
I got off the bus.
I weaved through the crowd and ended up close to the front. And then, right in front of me, the Pope came out and blessed the square filled with thousands. It was completely unplanned, totally unscripted—and yet, I felt something deeply powerful.
I felt magic.
Not the kind you schedule. The kind that finds you when you’re curious enough to follow the unknown.
What Travel Really Means to Me
Travel isn’t just a job for me—it’s my fuel. It’s what makes me excited to help others plan their journeys. And when people meet with me to talk about their trips, that passion is contagious.
But more than that, I want to help people create core memories—the kind of moments they’ll still talk about years from now.
Recently, I spent a day at Disney with some friends and their family. Weeks later, I was still getting texts from them:
“We can’t stop talking about it.”
“That was the best day we’ve had as a family in years.”
That’s what I live for. And I feel so fortunate to play even the smallest part in helping people feel that kind of joy.
The Magic Is in the Details (Even When It’s Not Disney)
Disney taught me how to plan with purpose.
Lightning Lanes, dining reservations, resort logistics—it’s like solving a joyful puzzle.
But that level of detail? It makes me a better advisor no matter where you want to go. Whether it’s a honeymoon in Italy, a family cruise through Alaska, or a trip to Tokyo, I bring that same care to everything I plan.
I don’t just handle flights and hotels. I curate experiences—excursions, vendors, cultural touches, and special moments you might not even know exist if you booked it yourself.
And I’m not doing it alone.
As part of Travelmation, I have access to over 2,200 travel advisors across the country. When someone tells me they want to go to Japan, I tap into our network and reach the colleague who personally booked over 100 trips there last year.
You’re not just getting me.
You’re getting a community of travel expertise—all focused on making your experience unforgettable.
Why Pixie Cove Travel Exists
I created Pixie Cove Travel to bring all these experiences together—Disney magic, global wonder, and everything in between.
It’s not about where you go. It’s about how it makes you feel.

Because travel should leave a mark.
It should make you feel something real.
And it should be remembered—not just weeks later, but years later.
